Sims 2: BR/Interior Design Stuff pre-made lot question?

so the lot called "stylish abode" or something has a really, really nice bathroom. The bathtub is nestled in these shelf-type things, and I cannot figure out how to duplicate this design. I took some screenshots but they're small so it's a little hard to see. 1. This one is much easier then you'd think. In your build mode you will find a section with foundations. One of those is "split level" foundation and can be built on any other foundations or flooring. With that bathroom they simply put the split level foundation around the bathtub and then used wall paint (wall tiles) and floor tiles to decorate it.
