Does this sound like a good career for me?

Well, I know I can't describe myself entirely in this paragraph, but I'll try. I am 13, and I love it when things are really organized and clean, but at times I can be really lazy. I am very studious, and I try to do my best in all my subjects. I'm shy around other kids and teens that I meet, but I communicate pretty well with adults that I either know or don't. My best friend is my sister, who is 12, and I spend a lot of my time with her. I started using home/interior design software when I was 9. I have been really interested in designing the floor plan of and designing the interior of homes and buildings, such as libraries, schools, restaurants, etc. I think I have a fair amount of style, and I think that if I go to school for this, I could possibly do well in this career. I am concerned, though, about the amount of money I could make at this. What are the possible job options, and average salaries of those jobs? Does it sound like I'd do well in this field?

  1. Never base your career on the amount of money you will be making. That usually just leads to working a job that you hate. If you go into a field doing work that you truly enjoy and are good at, you will find a way to be successful financially.
