what's a good computer program to use for designing restaurant interior and floor plans?

- Visual CAD or any full CAD program is the standard for designers until something better comes along. They can be used for visual layouts or even blue prints. Training for one of these programs is pretty intensive. Most learn these programs to land jobs with design or architect firms. A good architect can work of even a pencil sketch of your own. You're not going to find an "easy to us" inexpensive program to help you with a floor plan layout. You should really be using an architect anyways. They are familiar with building codes in your area and will see plumbing electrical and HVAC needs that you will not. I would suggest using an architect for any project you're serious about.
