1. you could try www.grapevinejobs.co.uk or www.mandy.com. They're both pretty good. (for work in the UK that is though mandy does do worldwide)
2. www.pzazzuk.com is a good design recruitment website
3. You can go to linkedin.com to get some contacts from every industry including designers and other executives or senior managers in the business. Where are you based at? You should find a good number of contacts at recruitment agencies too-- tcg.com,coroflot.com or maybe go to company's website and call the HR and find managers who are hiring in the creative/ design fields.Good luck.
4. Try trade press, marketing. marketing week, design etc or go online as below.
