A modern, clean, comfortable bathroom?

in my bathroom I only have a tub. I love taking baths but everyone takes a shower in this tub and its kind of gross to take a bath in it. Don't you think? I'm just curious if anyone else feels the same way. Also, I want a nice bathroom where a tub is separate for nice, warm baths :) and there's a little glass thing to take a shower. I don't know what its called. but I think this is only in very expensive apartments. What kind of bathroom do you have? Do you have separate places for bath and shower? What do you do?

1. It's not gross. Bathtubs are meant for showers and baths. However, it wouldn't hurt to clean the tub every once in a while if you plan on sitting in a bath. Get some Scrubbing Bubbles and give the tub a quick rubdown every other week. My apartment only has a tub too. It gets used as a shower and a bath, but we keep it clean.
2. I am fortunate to have more than one bath, so like you love the bathing with bubbles. I keep a basket with cleaning supplies just outside the tub....and once in a blue moon someone takes a shower. Just quickly spray with cleaner..wipe down with a used scouring pad that is plastic and not rough, rinse with hot water and paper towel out...takes 5 minutes and then the bubbles....ahhhhhh. I have a shower rod placed about a foot out from tub. I made floor to ceiling curtains out of a print that looks antique....and that is my private time...I love it...and all visitors are just delighted.
3. I love a hot bath too. I don't think it gross at all. But then again, I also clean my bathroom weekly including scrubbing the tub. They are called shower stalls, and they come in all types of homes from trailers to luxury apartments. If you have the space for a separate shower stall, they are not that expensive. You can purchase them from places like Home Depot and they start around $400. Running the piping will be the most expensive part.
4. You can clean the tub before you take a bath if you have to share a bathroom with people. I have a sliding shower door, its made of glass and I like it better than a shower curtain. I have a tub with a shower head, you can either take a shower or a bath. I'm not really into baths so its mostly showers for me. But I try to clean my bathroom at least once a week. It definitely helps in the hygiene department.
