In Legends of the Fall do Tristan and Isabel really talk in the kitchen?

I have seen some pictures of them in the kitchen talking and drinking what looks like tea. But I don't know if these were just pictures done to attract viewers to the movie or if they were scenes that were deleted and put on another edition of the dvd.
