Co-ed bathrooms in public: For or Against?

Assuming that bathrooms were designed with only stalls and sinks, (no urinals), would you be for or against eliminating men's and women's bathrooms, and only having co-ed ones? Or just adding a few co-ed ones to the ones we already have? Why or why not?

Public Comments

  1. I have been in a place with co-ed bathrooms that only had stalls and I don't think it was very pleasant for the women using them, there was pee all over the floor and the toilet seats. So I would say OK for men gross for women.
  2. I don't really care either way. I am fine with separated bathroom and co-ed ones, personally. But i suppose in order to honor religious differences, you would have to offer separate men's and women's bathrooms.
  3. Against. Some men are not good at hitting the target. For that matter, some women aren't either.
  4. I would not mind co-ed bathrooms. I can't even think of a reason why I would care. Everyone has privacy in their own stall.
  5. Sharing methane.
  6. I don't really care. When I was in college, we had co-ed bathrooms in the dorms. No big deal
  7. AGAINST to the max!! Can you imagine, lets say a little 6 or 7 year old little girl in the bathroom and four or five men in there using the restroom too? Not saying anything would happen, the point I am trying to get to is, try to imagine how that Lil girl would feel. I just know if I was that age and I came out of the stall and there stood men I didn't know washing their hands or waiting on a stall, with my Mom or without I would have been very uncomfortable!! Now, if it was in a place where it would be adults only, like a job site or office building that's a whole new ballgame! I still wouldn't like it, but I could handle it!
  8. I am a male and I HATE men's restrooms. Men are gross and I can't believe most women would like it.
  9. Against. It is too many perverts out there for that to even work.
  10. FOR IT!!!!!! Because we can have a privacy in the stall!! but you can see a lot of cute guys that way..... but then again what if you meet a really HOTTT!! guy and he stinks up the bathroom!! That would be GROSS!!!!
  11. Against. I want SOME privacy.
  12. I don't even like going to the bathroom in the same vicinity of a bunch of women. Let's keep it separated.
  13. I´ll be happy with equally cleaned bathrooms.
  14. I have no problem with it for young or old, people are in there for a reason other then sex. I think we get too hung up on the sex and try to make a connection with our body functions. However, public restrooms seem to bring out the most disgusting practices of people. If you were to combine the sexes you would have even more filthy restrooms, so that would lead to a big negative in my mind.
  15. The urinals in the men's bathrooms are the only "benefit" we have. It is a very quick in/out situation. With a co-ed bathroom, men would have to wait for a stall to become available. This would be a long wait in sports arenas or in very busy places. You women have the benefit of multiple orgasms, all we have to compensate is the ability to pee standing up. Let us keep the urinals!!! If co-eds were common, then we men would find out the secret of why you women go to the restroom in 2's or groups.
  16. Totally against it! Even though we all know the purpose of toilets, bathrooms are for more than using the toilet. People also use them for a number of other reasons (adjusting clothes, nursing babies, etc.). I would not be comfortable in a restroom with a bunch of men if I were the only woman. Let's be reasonable...sexual differences would make most people feel very uncomfortable and would probably make coed public restrooms unsafe.
