1. I like it. It's straight forward cooking without all the cheeseball gimmicks like Emeril and Rachel Ray.
2. i like it. A little jealous, everything goes so well, I know it's TV and editing plays a big part of that event. I would like to see where they have a mistake and learn from it and share it with us. Not only this show but other cooking shows. Once in a while they will explain that no substitutions should be done and the consequences.
3. I find the host, Christopher Kimball, to be a pompous git, but the other chefs are great. I really like the equipment corner and the tasting lab segments, too.
4. I love it! I find it informative without being boring and the recipes are explained well and taste great.
5. America's Test Kitchen is the #1 rated PBS show. It is a awesome show. Not only do they show you how to make a recipe but they have taken all of the guesswork out of which ingredient is best to use for the best overall effect. I use their recipes weekly and it has made dinner night in our household a much happier place and not so drab and boring. ATK is the best! :o)
