What is the best substitute for an outdoor BBQ in a Kitchen?

So i am moving into my new college apartment and we don't really have grills. We have some charcoal barbecue pits but they don't do the trick and are a hassle to use. What is the best substitute and how and I cook good grilled foods so that they look and taste like they just came off the barbecue? Any insight will be greatly appreciated

  1. I have a cast-iron stove-top grill that once seasoned gets better each time I use it. I use peanut oil on when I use it so it won't smoke and after cooking and cleaning it, I rub it with a little olive oil.
  2. Oh Man... How many sporting good stores IN your CITY..?? sorry I have a list of camping tools..and check Bass Pro,,, REI and Kitchenstore.com BYE
  3. You can always broil. Also what works is baking the meat wrapped in tin foil, cause it'll cook evenly.
  4. Buy a portable (camping) grill and keep it in your room when not in use.
