I need suggestions on what i should put into a gift bag for my bridesmaids?
I am getting married next summer and want to do something special for all the girls in my bridal party. I want to put together a cute tote bag full of little gifts for them. I thought about getting tote bags in the wedding colors or that say Bridesmaid/ Matron of Honor (whichever their title is) then filling them with unique items, any ideas????

- maybe some pictures from your wedding!!! Candies from other countries!!! Go to world market they have cool stuff there!!
- That's a really cute idea. I like the titles on their bags. I would include a pair of flip flops if it's a summer wedding. Old Navy usually has some cute ones that are more unique than their plain $3 ones. Some sunscreen, snacks that are local to the area (for example, we're getting married in the town where potato chips were invented, so we're putting chips in everyone's welcome bag). Maybe pay for the girls' manis the day-of the wedding in the form of gift certificates to the salon? Lip gloss would be a good idea (Sephora brand at sephora.com are very reasonably-priced.). Maybe some food cream from Bath and Body Works since they'll be in heels all night. That's all I can think of for now. Hope that helps to get you started!
- little perfume bottles, some nice chocolates, photos of the day,
- If you want them all to ear the same jewelry, you could include that jewelry in the gift box. If they're bringing a date, you could give them a framed photo of them and their date taken by your wedding photograher at the wedding. If you wanted to do the gift bag thing, and they were getting it before the wedding, you could include some "wedding essentials". Nail polish, hairspray, a spare pair of nylons, some fun colored flip-flops to match their dress, so they can take their dress shoes off after the ceremony if their feet hurt or they want to dance, a disposable camera for photos, extra bobby pins, lotion, lip gloss, mints or gum, etc. That way, when the inevitable happens and someone needs a booby pin, or gets a run in their nylons, or says "my feet are killing me", they're covered. You could also tuck in some fun things if you wanted to.
- beach-flip flops, towel, water bottle, sunglasses, tanning iol and sunscreen spa-lotions, oils, mani and pedi stuff makeup and hair products
- I second most of what schi25 said... I was a MOH a couple of months ago and the bride put nice decorative flip flops in our gift bag... at first i was like what do i need these for?? lol... but i'm SOO glad myself and the other bridesmaid got those flip flops... they were nice and dressy and we wore them about halfway through the evening once our feet were killing us! Very thoughtful!.... the bride also gave us lip gloss and eye shadow that matched our dresses... she didn't oblige us to use it for the wedding but i'm beauty incomptetent so it saved me a lot of hassle to have it... Personally, i don''t agree so much with the tote bag that says MOH and bridesmaid, just because I know i would never use it again, but that's just my opinion.... a nice gift bag would be cheaper and do the trick as well in my opinion... or a nice tote bag that doesn't say MOH on it. We also received a nice framed picture of ourselves with the bride, with a poem she wrote ... it was a lovely poem (i don't think she was the original author of it, but it was a very fitting poem about growing up toegether, being there for her yada yada)... very nice and the other bridesmaid cried when she read it hehe How considerate of you to get a little something for your MOH and BM... whatever it is you end up getting them it will be appreciated. Congrats and take care!
- I actually Have a pretty neat Idea, seeing how everyone is different and like different things. I am partnered with a company that has something called a Ribbon they are like gift cards but you can get all kinds of things on them, There is one for a lady who needs pampered, one with Jewelry, one that has just about anything you can imagine on it. There is also all different price ranges so it will help you stay in any budget you may have. The address is http://www.tergle.ordermygift.com You could get them some small things leading up to the type of card you choose for them and have it in the wedding colors that would be so beautiful. I hope I helped and congratulations on getting married. If you need or want any more information just let me know my address is mtergle@yahoo.com .
- I am doing the same thing for my bridesmaids! I didn't get the tote bags that say "Bridesmaid" or "Maid of Honor" though, because they won't use them again. I got cute canvas tote bags (they look more like purses) from Bass, and I filled them with: lotions from Bath & Body Works, compact mirror, nail file, Sigg water bottle, lip gloss, and the necklace to match her bridesmaid dress.
- If you want these bags to be ones that they can carry after the wedding, I wouldn't get "bridesmaid" written on them - what about their initials? To put inside them - jewelry to wear at the ceremony, a gift certificate for a mani/pedi, small lotions and bath products, a disposable camera, lip gloss or lipstick, a framed picture of you with your girls, gum or mints, granola bars and bottled water (for the long wait between the ceremony and reception), books or magazines. Most importantly, a handwritten note thanking them for all their hard work for your wedding day!
- I did this for my girls. I put hand lotions, body wash, body spray, I made then each a necklace, I also put a T-shirt in it. If I had time I would have put a small brag book in it. With a picture of her and I from the past. Leaving space for pictures from the wedding.
