1. oh wow ... how can anyone answer this ... you give no clue to how big your kitchen is, what units you want, whether you want appliances, whether you want bottom of the range cheap or something more stylish ... whether you'll do any of your own fitting or whether you're getting fitters

3. The cost of kitchen cabinets are usually estimated by the linear foot. Ikea has great kitchens, and while they advertise their products as being reasonably affordable, brand new kitchen cabinets from Ikea can cost as much as completely custom kitchen cabinets. In my area, the standard cost for brand new, fully custom kitchen cabinets ranges from $150 to $200 per linear foot (depending on the style), and that price includes upper cabinets AND lower cabinets. Then you will need to add an additional $10 to $20 per linear foot for the estimated charge to paint or stain and seal the cabinets. Ikea's pricing seems to fall on the upper end of that price range. So in order to estimate your pricing, simply measure the linear footage of your cabinets, and multiply by the linear foot cost (anywhere from $160 to $220 per linear foot). The price could run more if you choose one of the upper-end styles with a specialty finish. And then on top of that, you have to add the cost of appliances, which, of course, will vary depending on the type you choose. For brand new stainless steel appliances, you can expect to pay about $5000 or more, depending on the quality you choose.
