Natwerk Designs

I may be moving. My son bought a 3 family home in my present neighborhood. I need interior design advice.?

It's an old style home built in 1900. Rooms a smaller than I'm use too but the home I have now is gigantic and I can't see keeping it after the kids are gone. In this new home, my youngest son will live with his wife on the 3rd floor, the home owner, my eldest son will live on the 2nd floor and my husband and I have the 1st floor. The kitchen and bath need a complete remodel. Hard wood floors and lovely door and window trim, also also finished wood. The house overlooks a marina and river. Presently my home is decorated in a Tuscan style with the use of earth elements, leather, wood and stone. Not sure it'll have the same appeal in the new place. There is also about an acre of land, fruit trees, grapevines and sun porches that overlook them. Please give me some idea's for apartment decorating. I've never lived in an apartment. I'm not into "modern", more Tuscan or I would consider something the complement the water (river). Thanks Excuse me, I meant something that compliments the river.

  1. how about a garden theme, or paint murals on the walls with a Tuscan slant? Maybe more Roman Garden? hgtv.com, rate my space, search for "Northville" for ideas.
