choosing the wright tiles for a small bathroom?
I have a small bathroom which I'm having redecorated. I have chosen a white sweet with silver fittings. Is it best to have all the walls tiled or just half? I no that I should keep to light colours but what about a boarder? Should I keep to a light colour with that as well? Also should the tiles be small medium or large? Thank you xx

- funnily enough large tiles make it look bigger! I prefer all tiled as it just feels and looks cleaner. Pick a border with a couple of colours so that you have more choice in accessories that you buy, towels etc Don't pick a pattern that might go out of fashion quickly
- My bathroom is quite small too and when we redecorated it we had a new white suite and chrome fittings. My husband who is a property repairer tiled the whole room with large beige tiles with the odd intermittent one with a discreet pattern, which makes the room look bright and stylish. It looks awesome.
- large tiles will help keep size. small tiles will bring room in so it looks smaller.nutral colour are best with a hint of your favourite. i.e towels soap and toilet dispensers.
- I have just put subway/metro tiles up in my smallish bathroom (it was TINY, but we had it enlarged just a bit!!) .. i done a old fashioned victorian theme, large black and white tiles on the floor, and white subway tiles on the walls (wet areas rather than all over).. with one line of black through the middle.. and the rest of the plaster work done in a pale blue ...it looks FAB!!! oh and the border i used the plastic topping that they sell in all tile shops.. it may sound a bit gross, but honest my bathroom looks gorgeous, i love it!! good luck x
