Will radio waves for a stero get interference from fridge? interference from a refrigerator?

My electrician thinks that when he puts our stereo near our refrigerator that there could be interference and the reception will not be clear. This is for an outdoor kitchen entertainment area, I don't normally put stereo's in the kitchen!

1. technically NO. But in a way it may affect your radio especially if you hook the AC in the same receptacle once the firdge compressor runs it would fluctuate the power & may affect the radio usually like a hicup in the sound.
