My Micro Innovations wireless optical wont work,read on...?

The website is no help. I know about the button on the bottom and there is a battery indicater light on the mouse to tell you when the batteries are low so I know its not the batteries. The model is PD950P. Im using my other kouse that has a ball but the ball sticks, Im tired of using it. SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS....PLEASE!!! I cant it back cause I lost the receipt.

1. Check to be sure the infrared windows are not obstructed, and the mouse has a line of sight to the receiver.
