- I could say but I would probably get flamed for it =\
- Mojitos!!!!! They are great....3 fresh mint sprigs 2 tsp sugar 3 tbsp fresh lime juice 1 1/2 oz light rum club soda In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lime slice and the remaining mint, and serve.
- Cosmopolitans, sangria and wine. have finger food like a cheese fondue, mini eclairs, crackers and crab dip, and chips. My fav is buy (or make) a good, thick tomatoe pie & cut it up into long strips. The best! Play a game where you write down an actor/actress and tape it on thier back and throughout the night people give hints on who you are and winner gets a small prize like movie tickets. Or go to a store and buy a fun game where you all can interact. Talk about sex, relationships and friendships! make a cd of girl power songs with femaile artist like sheryl crowe, Gwen, PINK...
- mmm make blue hawaiis. you can get the recipe on thee internet
- I love killer koolaid! There's about a bazillion recipes out there but the one closest to the one I use (I'm at work right now) is: sprite vodka Amaretto peach schnapps 1 can orange juice 1 large can pineapple juice cherries Mix it all in a pitcher, add the alcohol to your flavoring (I usually wind up adding more after a few drinks! hehehe). Pour on the rocks, add a few cherries and enjoy! My mother doesn't like to drink, but she'll drink this. Tastes like punch.
- You are having a ladies night OUT at your home? Okay..well, for mixed drinks I suggest COSMOPOLITANS, POMETINIS (pomegranite martinis), and LEMON DROPS. Good luck with the entertainment bit. Its just kinda fun to sit around and b.s. or play board games that get everyone talking and laughing..something that asks everyone questions that they have to answer. Those make everybody laugh (due to some interesting answers at times).
- wines are a starter....try mini quiches or if you are willing to splurge..shrimp cocktail and scallops wrapped in bacon...don't forget the cheese straws... try vodka soaked watermelon served in martini glasses.. try making an assortment of jello shots...very popular.. pita bread torn into pieces and hummus serves a rustic purpose... take your favorite meatball, and saute in sweet and sour sauce.. don't forget an assortment of cheese and crackers.... the final drink should be something that will be remembered....try a flavored rum on ice............ have fun...
- At any ladies night you have to have martinis and sangrias. In house entertainment can be strippers or if you dont want to go that route than you can do party games like family fued on dvd its an interactive game, pictanary,etc...For snacks you can have finger foods, chicken strips, cheese and crackers. I like to make Bruschetta with ritz crackers. 1 cup chopped plum tomatoes 1/2 cup Kraft 2% milk reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup chopped green onions 1 tbsp. Kraft italian reduced fat dressing 2 tbsp. shredded parmesan cheese 36 ritz crackers Pre-heat oven to 400 .mix all ingred. together, spoon 2 tsp of mixture on each cracker, place on baking sheet, bake 8-10 min or until cheese is melted.
- I think the talking and eating will keep the ladies happy and busy. A couple trays of hourderves, chips and dip, veggies or fruit. Some candles or flowers set. You could have some photo albums around, it would be even better if the ladies were in them too. Games like pictionery are always fun. I like putting on dvd's of a funny movie or with standup comedians to lighten the mood. You have to serve Malibu Bay Breeze as one of your mixed drinks~YUM!!!! (pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and malibu rum) have fun!
