How do I find companies who might be interested in producing my designs?

I create product designs (home acessories/lighting/furniture etc) but am having a really difficult time finding companies who might be interested in producing them and I can't afford to have them produced myself (am not looking for manufacturers), does anyone know where they hide?

1. *contact some o the better known companys.i found a few sites for you too look at.perhaps you may wish to contact them,good luck. www.madisonlighting.net re, etc. ... www.elektrokurltd.com - www.homelighting.com coolstuffnola.com/index.htm or try contacting people like richard branson for example.
2. Most furniture designers get their start in the art world. That means you will have to learn to make the stuff yourself. Furniture companies don't pick up designers that have no reputation.
