In Diablo 2 can I come back to Larzuk in Normal difficulty to add a socket to an item I got in Nightmare/Hell?

(Larzuk is the guy from Act 5 - Quest 1 he adds a socket to any item without any) I don't want the quest reward to vanish as soon as I beat Baal, but I don't have any items I want to add sockets to. Same question comes up with Act 1 where Charsi makes an item unique..........

1. ok if u hav ur item and socket it in hell mode, u cant socket the same item in normal and nightmare mode, but u can socket different items...so this is a simple way of explaining it i socket my flail in normal, cant socket it again - socket heraldric shield in nightmare, but cant do it again - socket weapon in hell but cant socket again in hell this is the same for charsi's unqiue weapon
2. yes you can .. you can go ahead and do/get the quest and it'll keep till you're ready & want to add a socket to something .. as long as you haven't used the quest (socketed an item), the quest remains until you use it... and it doesn't matter what act/difficulty you got the item from
