  1. A pacifier that tells the temperature.
  2. I have a box of Cloth diapers never opened. I don't think they make them any more.
  3. a silver antique baby rattle Also a baby blanket made out of squares each with a little teddy wearing a different colored ribbon round its neck. It was made by my gran
  4. a medicine dropper that can be a key chain..
  5. It was the harder plastic baby bjorn bibs, which are awesome for travelling, since you can just wipe them down. I couldnt find them anywhere to buy a second. Then I just found them, and bought them for my friends shower - so now they are no longer unique. Also the bassinet grandpa made.
  6. a pillow that my mom in law made for my daughter :)
  7. I'm not sure what it is called, but it looks like a pacifier with a net on the end of it. You put a piece of fruit in there, and the baby gets to munch on it without getting any actual pieces of fruit in his mouth. Kinda mushes it like apple sauce and they get to suck it out. Great if they don't have all their teeth yet.
  8. I think all mine are pretty common...... I dont know. I will let ya know if I think of something.
  9. i don't own one myself but i know someone who owns a lead (yes that lead) baby bottle from the 1800's (not in use nor will it ever be used again)
  10. I have two handmade quilts that relatives made for my daughter who will be 10 this week. I will save them for her baby!
  11. I made both my son and daughter their own baby blankets. My son's is creamy fleece with dusty blue stitching around the edges, and "Our Boy" embroidered in the corner. My daughter's is white fleece on one side and white on white polka dots on the other, with white satin edging and deep red ribbon trim. I embroidered her name, Scarlett, in the corner. :)
  12. My son has an afghan that was made for him by my grandfather's sister (my great aunt - I think that is what ther term is)...she is 90!
  13. a onsie that I made my son myself. It says established November 5, 2007 (his bday), across the front.
  14. I have a pair of Italian leather booties that were mine as a baby, and my mom saved them for my kids. Both my boys wore them home from the hospital- they're white and kind of stiff, not very comfy looking at all. But, it sure made grandma happy.
  15. I have a super crafty sister in law... so I have a bunch of blankets and bibs... she also made me one of those shopping cart seat inserts, in totally cute, but random fabrics and while I see them a lot these days, the fabric of my Maya Wrap ring sling was pretty rare to see 5 years ago... it's the bright rainbow stripe, #37 I believe.
  16. My best friend gave my oldest daughter a bonnet for her baby dedication that, when a stitch is removed, becomes a hankerchief for her to use as "something old" when she gets married.
  17. We have some handmade quilts. One was made by my Grandma for me and I passed it down to my daughter. And she also has several quilts made by my Mom. She has made beautiful embroidered labels on them for my daughter too, they are very special to me.
  18. My mom is a crazy-good knitter. She knitted my daughter a bunch of ADORABLE hats that are very unique. One has bunny ears and is made out of cashmere! Another is like an upside-down flower on her head, and one has a bunch of knitted rosebuds coming off the top. When my daughter was born 5 weeks premature and only 5 lb, my mom was disappointed that nothing she knitted fit the baby so she knitted a preemie-size sweater and bonnet while my daughter was still in the NICU. That's probably my favorite thing.
  19. My brother (who is now 25 years old) was born w/ a clefted foot and when he was 6 months old had surgery to correct it. We still have the cast he wore after the surgery...Its soooo cute and tiny.
