what is good, unique gift for groomsmen?
I need ideas for a great groomsman gift that is not a flask, cufflinks or other tried and true items. I need something unique and different yet usable. Any Ideas?

- Get monagramed flasks or Valets.
- The wedding I was at last weekend, the groomsmen's gifts were all brown sneakers (which they wore in the wedding with their tuxes, which were also brown. It sounds strange, but it was quite unique actually). My sister's husband gave his groomsmen axes. (They were all the outdoorsy type, big into camping and hunting.)
- My husband had different pictures from their past taken, framed and then personal says placed on them...they were really nice. It sounds girly, but really it was a nice thought.
- the last wedding i was in the groom bought all the men personalized cuff links... It was a great gift!
- if they are golfers, get them a gift certificate to the golf course or pro shop. subscribe them to a year's subscription of sports illustrated, or espn the magazine
- i recently got mine gift cards for 30 bucks. it beats giving them something they will use once and end up in a drawer and eventually in the garbage. i got them each a gift card to what i think they would like. places such as autozone, homedepot, golf store, etc. good luck!
- Pocket watch beer stein money clips crystal wine glasses a roll of ones for a stripper (maybe not) a stripper
- I know this sounds really strange.....but my husband bought all his groomsmen car covers plus some of the more traditional things. See? I told you it was strange...but the groomsmen all owned Porsche's of some sort (as does the husband) so that was his gift. It was a huge hit!
- Well, my father-in-law made this one guy rabbitt skin pouches for their Magic cards. Pretty unique, you just need to find a leather worker for something like that though. My husband gave his brothers each shot glasses with their names on them, but one drinks a lot and the other collects shot glasses. So that worked out. They also have little golf packages, if they're into golf, that include tees, balls, and some other stuff I think. Good Luck with the search!
- Underwater digital cameras. With three or four groomsmen it's probably a couple hundred bucks apiece, but if you're having one of those weddings where there's 10 groomsmen, I'd say that gifts for the wedding party is the least of your problems.
- http://www.thinkgeek.com/index.shtml This is not a wedding shop, so they're not going to jack the prices up. They have a huge variety of merchandise. Yes, you can find some of the traditional stuff here, but they have so much to choose from. A lot of great fun stuff! From toys, t-shirts, electronics, watches, caffeinated products, books, joke items, remote control toys, office warfare items, various nerf guns and such, etc. They even have titanium sporks! And they get new products every month. It's totally worth checking out, just to read their creative and funny product descriptions. They even do videos for some of the products. I hope you find what you're looking for. (they have gift certificates you can buy, too.)
- Think about what they like. If you wouldn't buy it for Christmas or the Birthday's don't get it for the wedding gift. Ours are getting custom branding irons with their initials that they can use on the grill for their steaks and things. (they grill ALOT) They are also getting glass beer boot stiens at the bachelor party. (Its from this movie Beerfest they love) My wedding gift to Hubby was a day with a fishing guide for the three of them before the wedding. Otherdiscarded ideas: Paintball afternoon Tickets to football game (too expensive) Fishing rod with reel and lures Personalized Jerseys from fav. football team The racetrack has this thing where you can get certificates for a pro driver to teach them how to drive and they get to take a NASCAR around the track
- SOCKS!!! and something else of course. But socks never come with the tux rental and since they will be on their feet alot nothing feels (and looks) better than a new pair of socks! I've stood up in 9 weddings and have more stein's, flasks, and cuff links than I'll ever use. You don't need to get them all the same thing. Try and make each one personal. An accessory for whatever hobby they're into.
- Depending on their hobbies get them appropriate gifts for that, i.e. fishers can get rods, readers get book from fav author, fix-it-guys would love a tool kit i'm sure. Or, pictures of husband to be w them and framed as a nice memorandom of good times past and ones to come
- I am doing personalised pen knives for mine x
- My husband got his groomsmen bottle openers. At the top was a bottle opener that was personalized and then underneath it was a plastic bag thing that caught the bottle top when it fell off. Oh, and it had a magnet on the back of it so that it could hang on the refridgerator. Sorry that I don't remember the website, but you could always do a Yahoo search.
- Get them each an open gift card from www.signaturedays.com. They sell experience gifts and the groomsmen can choose from thousands--and not walk away with something they will never use! It's perfect for all different types of people...they have skydiving, hot air balloon rides, cooking classes, drive a Nascar, and tons more. Plus, you can spend any amount you'd like to fit your budget and they come in really elegant terra cotta orange boxes so you don't even need to worry about the presentation!
