What are some household items and techniques i can use to alter my jeans/personalize them & make them unique?

So far i have been using a razor blade to make rips and tears into my jeans. I also have been using some fabrics and i have been exploring the idea of using glitters to add to my jeans. However, i do not know how to find glitters that will actually stick to my jeans, so any ideas???

1. well back in the 80s we use to wrap rubber bands around the legs or tie knot in them and spill a little bit of bleach on them. or you can take a shot gun and blow pellets through them
2. if you want torn jeans, you can create this look by using steel brush on the parts of your jeans where you want it. steel brushes can be bought at hardware stores. for embellishments, there are iron on crystals and studs that you can buy at your local craft store.
3. Drawing designs in bleach. And if you cut of the hem when their wet them but them in the dryer it'll end up frilled. I like to cut them at the knees and safety pin them back. Rinestones work too. Oh! And fabric paint. But be careful with it and draw what yo want on before you use it. It dries slowly so try not to touch it after it's on.
4. some stuff that I have used are : -stitch on an old funky earing -heat stick ons -kids tattoos -stitch a bright fabric on the inside of the hem.
5. Anyone still use the bedazzler? I may be a little too out of touch ;)
