Our final is designing our own project of an artwork. Does anybody have any ideas?? help!?

Our final is designing our own project of an artwork. We can either choose from the the two ideas that we learned in class. The first being your interpretation of America, and the second being the gleaming jungle, which is the world surrounding you... but when you lose your innocence as a child and are forced to mature whether you choose to or not. like someone dying then there really isnt much more gleaming about it. Can someone please help me think of an artowork or poster I can do? Which one seems easier Im not the creative type person and its really difficult for me to think of something impressive. Help!! Im open to all ideas.

1. I would take some items that are normally thrown away like a tin can, a gum wrapper, an empty fast food container, a straw, maybe an old shoe - stuff like that... I would super glue them into some kind of structure and fasten it to a piece of wood. Then I would take things that are made from those items when they are recycled, and super glue them in some kind of structure next to the garbage. If you wanted to go one step more, I would make a tree, have a container of water by it, some sand, some rocks - raw materials that are used in manufacturing. I would have them stacked somehow too. Then you could tie them all together with an old extension cord or some twine or string and call it "The Cycle of Life." If you put each structure or pile at the corners of a triangle shape, you could even put a Ken and Barbie doll in the middle with their arms outspread as if they are gesturing to the piles. You could even put them on something circular from the garbage and nail it on the wood so they rotate!
