Please Help Me ReDo My Bedroom? [Very long...I dare you to read it all and give your best answer!]?

I am 16 years old and redoing my bedroom. I will be moving out in two years so i am not looking to do anything that involves construction work. Haha. However, I do not have a budget. I want my room to look alot more adult and yet very unique. For background information; I spend hours in my room with my reptiles, standard poodle, & Greenwing macaw. I am a lipstick lesbian, i love fires, fashion, clean-cut trendy designs, tattoos, animals, and motorcycles. I dont know if this will help at all but i figured it might help if you know what im into. I made a picture on paint of what my bedroom looks like and the furniture that will be going into it. The furniture 'pics.' is approximate size to the floorspace 'pic.'. The TV must stay where it is. I am going to get a queen size bed. I have a large macaw cage. I am getting a nightstand to store make up in & im getting a smaller nightstand to have a place to put my phone..ect. I forgot to add my poster. Can you please give me creative ideas on where my furniture should go and cool things that i should purchase to add to my bedroom? Links would be great! http://i8.tinypic.com/66vha9j.jpg

  1. Go to Home Depot or something and look through their design books. You'll probably get some ideas from them.
  2. Here are some links for some cool-looking rooms. Sorry, some of them require a little bit of *construction* But seems very simple. This first one involves painting with black, and looks clean and trendy. (thought of this idea because you mentioned clean-cut trendy, and motorcycles) http://www.bhg.com/bhg/story.jsp?storyid=/templatedata/bhg/story/data/1166643739703.xml&catref=cat3560012 This second one is a bed that works great in a room limited on space. http://www.homevisions.com/hvprod/cp_bed.asp?product=3417 This third one shows different wall sculptures you can add to your walls. I thought of these because you mentioned you liked tattoos. Like tattoos for your walls? http://www.homevisions.com/hvprod/page2.asp?PID=311 This one shows how just adding pops of color can transform your room. http://www.redesignsbyragpickers.com/teen_bedroom_before_redesign_enlarged.html Looking at your floorspace picture, I would put the bed in the bottom left corner to the right, with the nightstand above it on the wall. (above meaning on the picture, not actually *above* it) Put your make-up stand in the middle of the top wall with the macaw cage in the corner. Hope this helps, or at least gives you some ideas.
