History day question: ideas for design of display board?

My topic is the Trail of Tears the theme this year is compromise and conflict any ideas of presenting my project? i'm doing and "exhibit" by the way. so something along the lines of a poster board but wayyyy more creative. :) it does'nt have anything to do with einstien and marilyn monroe! so that is not perfect in any way! please, more ideas! THAT MAKE SENSE! :)

1. Einstein kissing Marylin Monroe. Oh, how do I explain this would be perfect for 'trail of tears'...... ... I can't. It just is. http://www.hemmy.net/images/illusions/marilyneinstein.jpg Perspective is all that is left of the trail of tears. That it took until 1987 to become an "official historic event" is only sadly reminiscent of how much water has gone under the bridge. History is what we make it. What we hear about it is so...far removed from us it is like the (unofficial story) that Einstein and Marylin met and kissed. I know you will never go with this idea but I hope it makes a bit of sense now.
2. If you were to do a collage, i would mount it in one of those huge poster frames. I did a history collage in one of those that turned out great. You may want to also layout a "trail" on your collage with corresponding dates and illustrate at those points what was happening at that time with labels or captions.
