Designing a poster for a mueseum exhibiton any advice?

hey im designing a poster for a mesuem exhibition. Its on Fuel Efficient Cars. my aim is to show a creative approach so i am going to use collage of images as my main ingredient aswell as photography mabey some drawing and large loud text. has anyone ever done a poster or design like this before i would love to have someone elses input as to how to start this off and mabey some of the main ingredients needed in a poster presinatation. i was thinking of showcasing it as cartoon like but i am not sure how that would work..

1. Well I like your ideas so far. Maybe you could include some characters from the Cars Pixar movie. If that seems stupid, you could like design a car of the future or something and include some pictures of hybrids. For the text, maybe you could come up with something about the high gas prices. Like: Save money, buy a hybrid. Okay that is really dumb but get what I mean? Or, you could make the poster a comic. Let it just be a comic about fuel-efficient cars Hope your posters turns out great.
