Whats so good about maturity?
Grow up, act like everyone else, act your age, stop being a child, act like that 'nobody' over there, be quiet... Seriously you conformers are the most boring people I have ever come across. Heres a hint for you... act mature and watch how quickly your body ages and your mind decays. Mature people have no innovation, no sense of adventure, no creative imagination, or any life energy whatsoever. Next person who tells me to grow up I'm going to sleep!

- if a situation calls for you to grow up then you've too..."grow up" is a figure of speech...meaning make wise decisions rather then stupid ones...
- With maturity comes the freedom to do whatever you want. Such as, ranting about something that is most stupid. And since when does maturity mean conformity? Perhaps you don't fully understand the meaning of the word maturity, or conformity. Why don't you just grow up!
- i agree my immaturity makes me great at working with troubled kids i understand them
- Sweet dreams. When you wake up you'll still need to grow up. Really, maturity is a good thing. You make better life choices from experience. You can have more fun because you have more money. You take better care of your body, have better sex, and more. I like myself better now than when I was younger. Live long enough...you'll agree.
- ok fine go drink and party and do drugs if that's what you want. watch how fast and how quickly you age then. partying is going to make you grow older faster than just acting mature. acting mature means doing what you know has to be done whether you want to do it or not. not everybody wants to pay bills but we know what the consequences are when we don't. it's not bad to party just as long as you don't act like an idiot when you do it. girls don't usually want immature guys either because we think you're going to cheat.
- I don't really understand the definition of maturity you convey here, you act like it's nothing more than entering a state of apathy and that you are required to change your attitude. You know, you can grow up and have fun just the same way you always have, there are not a certain set of rules people have to follow for living your life. In fact, that's probably what your youth is about, is forming who you want to be on a personality level as much as it is about learning all that it takes to make a living. How about putting it another way, just be yourself and don't worry about what other people think.
- With maturity comes wisdom.. all kinds of wisdom. The wisdom to be silly, the wisdom to be yourself-- the wisdom to act whichever you want. Being mature doesn't necessarily mean being boring. It just means that you start understanding the world better and you start to be more contented with your life. You're more open-minded and you look at the world more diffenrently. Being silly and child-like is fun. But sometimes you have to wake up from funland and be more responsible. It's good to have a balance of both.
- Being mature has nothing to do with conforming. Being mature means you take TOTAL responsibility for yourself. I follow my own rules - always have. I could care less what AGE I am - I know I do NOT "act" 52. Sometimes I am VERY silly and childlike. As far as innovation, adventure, creativity, or energy, you are sadly misguided - but that would be typical coming from someone who relates maturity with conformity - those are some pretty MATURE words there little guy! Go back to sleep little boy. Maybe when you wake up, you can read some books so you can learn what being an adult is all about.
