Do women realize that their past relationships do matter to a guy?

I am interested in starting a dialogue with this question Do women realize that their past relationships do matter to a guy? everybody wants to find their "perfect mate" and good luck to all, you deserve it my question is, is that it seems american women like to hook up with "bad boys" (ie druggies drunks etc.) sleep with an excessive amount of them...build their personal numbers up high, have children out of wedlock, basically make themselves very undesirable as a "perfect mate " . After they "ruin" their lives, they want to find a "nice guy" to pick up the pieces and try to fix their lives. I have had alot of replies from women saying that pasts do not matter. This is not true. Most of us feel that women who sleep with alot of men will always sleep with alot of men. This is a small world, and like it or not...everyone knows what everyone does. Even if the girl doesn't tell you their "number" (most of them do, because they think it will make you closer), their friends or family usually end up saying too much around their boyfriends/husbands. We find out even if we don't want to, so it can't be hidden I gave up on what I saw as the available "singles pool" here, moved to Germany and found a good wife. For all of you who want to know "how do i know", I really took the time to know this girl, and I found out everything from her and family and friends. I let her know what was important to me in a realtionship. I just want to know people opinions on how we can improve this trend, that is ruining the american family. I moved back to the States and I see this as one of the things destroying this country. to answer IB-W**** yes, it does suck for nice guys. To all the women that think i played a bunch of girls before being married....I am a nice guy...I did not build up my numbers, and the dating problem was because of not meeting women with morals This question does not really relate to the younger women ( high school and younger) but it might be a valuable thing to think about... you ARE the future. And like it or not, the future of the american family falls heavily on the behavior of our women.

4. well mr knowitall, i am american and you did not describe me. in my opinion i have not been with alot of guys, i do not like bad guys, but to you anyone who drinks or does drugs are bad sooo your definition of a bad guy might be different than mine. i have not had any children yet, i believe in family planning if possible but accidents happen.
5. It's not a one-way street. Way too many men want to marry a woman that hasn't been with many other men, yet the man himself has been with quite a few. Of course, society today lets men be "studs" if they sleep with a lot of women, but if a woman sleeps with a lot of men, she's a "$lut". Men have pasts too. They may not have gone through labor, but they may have knocked up a girl and have a kid somewhere, etc.. The blame cannot be solely placed on women.
6. All of my past relationships, good or bad, helped make me the person that I am today, as have yours. If a man is threatened by my past relationships, then I thank him for showing me that he is insecure and not the kind of guy I would want to be with anyway.
7. I see your point. I have a friend from the Philippines and she has make comments like the tradition of the girl being "good" is not a tradition here. She had a hard time when she first moved here, understanding the culture. She didn't understand things like why a single female would need birth control or why kids have different last names then the mother. But what I don't understand is why this doesn't work both ways. Guys want trampy girls when they are young and then want to settle down with a nice girl. Girls are emotional saps sometimes and they cater to what a guy wants. Then when they do that they are cast aside. You, as you describe yourself, are a rare. Most guys want a quick easy lay and sadly women bring themselves down to a level that provides that for them.

I agree with you!!! but to what i heard...every 3 mins, there is american lady being rape...may be too large number, their soul and mind live in pain, that's why goes wrong....if in this bad situation, u still say all these words to them, this only make them even more painful....somehow there are men do not mind their past, and give them chance to new life, don't u think these men are greatest? No one want to be BAD, there must be a reason out there, it is just that nobody really care and concern, I do not care these people too...but i only want to know what make them change and go wire!!! 9. I am recently divorced after 23yrs. I am not really interested in dating because all the men I meet are very forthcoming in what they want which is sex. I'm not interested . There is a serious disease in this country it is call lack of morals. And the woman are as bad as the men. It is causing the decay of family's . I don't know why and how it happened and became so rampant but it did. As a result children are growing up without moms or dads . There are STD killing people It is so sad. Anyway what we did in the past is what makes us who we are today sometimes we learn and become better people . That hasn't been the case with the ones I know that have a sorted past they have for the most part remained the same it is who they are.
10. I wish you luck in trying to get women to understand their own nature. "If men can do it, so can we" is the typical attitude of the modern women because of feminism. The problem with that is that it's a man's biological nature to be promiscuous. It's almost the opposite for women. Women are monogamous by nature. Women will never admit that the nice, loyal guy is never the one they are attracted to. The players get all the women simply because they can. And women always fall for players because they are always willing to take that risk for an alpha male. That's just the nature of the mating game. So I agree with you. These women who think they can sleep around and still get the same amount of respect that a player gets are just fooling themselves. Guys who sleep around are the alpha males. Women who sleep around are just easy s l u t s. Sorry gals, that's the way it is. Blame mother nature.
