What are some ideas for unique items in a boutique?

I am sick of the usual scarves, jewelry, hats, big tote bags, etc... Can someone give me some ideas! Thanks!

1. Sound Dumb I know, but I sell mugs, and greeting cards, They really do well. I don't know why. Maybe its just something different for them to look at.
2. Belts, jackets, socks?
3. Try selling things that people really like and need. Everybody needs shoes. Everybody likes cute shoes. Try taking a plain pair of shoes and decorating them so they look different, a one of a kind.
4. How about specialty pet items (bowls, carriers, treats, collars, clothing, pet books), item's for wedding & baby showers (blankets, pee pee tee pees, inchbug.com labels), inexpensive funky shoes and flip flops, bachelorette party items, a nice selection of pens, picture frames, lap top accessories, cute tee shirts, maybe an assortment of specialty teas and coffees, sunglasses, ceramics of all kinds, seeds for gardening (maybe some live plants), used books. The list is endless, Good Luck!
