Can I now read my Yahoo Messenger history from another computer?

I received a somewhat ambiguous pop up message from Yahoo the other day. From what I can gather it appears to suggest because of new innovations I am now able to read my yahoo messenger chat history from another computer. Is this correct? If so, in laymans vernacular how do I initiate it? Up to now I cannot read at home on one computer what I say from work on another and this would be a great benefit. How do I do it if it is in fact true? I can always read my chat history but not from a different computer. I can only read specific history from the computer it was written on. I can read history on my laptop from anywhere if it was written on my laptop but you will find you cannot read history written on one computer from a different computer, it doesn't matter if you save archives or not, it is just not available on different computers one from the other. I have 3 computers in different locations and I have 3 totally separate histories all under my one and only ID. If you gave me your ID info and password, I could log in to your messenger but even if your settings included "save archives" your chat history would appear blank to me because it was not written on my computer. The ability to do this now was suggested in the yahoo pop up message but I cannot understand how to implement it.

  1. I think if you make sure that your archive is on you can check your history no matter where as long as you are signed on. You go under file and then something like privacy settings and then there are a whole bunch of options.
  2. yes you can i do it all the time
