Where do i start looking for a career in interior design?

I currently work for a stone company, therefore i am getting a tiny bit of exposure to Kitchen and Bath "design". But I will be moving soon to Long Beach CA and I have no clue where to look for a new job that is similar.

1. You can apply at a kitchen and bath showroom, and do design work for them. It's not as hard if you go to maybe a smaller family operated company. That's how I got my foot in the door. It lead to me doing large condos in Manhattan, and I never thought I could pull it off. Now I co-own a design and construction company. You can do it! Good luck!
2. Do a Yahoo or Google search for 'Long Beach, CA interior design firms' and you will pull up a list of firms here. The same thing for stone companies.
