Any meals for people without kitchens?

I don't have access to a kitchen, but I do have a microwave. Anyone have anything easy to make and eat other than Ham and Cheese sandwich or Salad?

  1. Go to your local grocery store and grab a tv dinner. Some can actully by quiet good.
  2. You could buy one of those packages of sliced chicken and one of those microwave bags of rice and veggies. Heat the rice and veggies up and put cold or warmed chicken over and there you have a yummy dinner in less then five minutes. If that isn't appealing, you can always make pasta in the microwave. Just put noodles in water and heat till pasta is soft and then warm up some sauce and place on top. I remember doing both of these when I lived in a dorm and REFUSED to eat dorm food. Good luck. I hope this has helped.
  3. You can buy microwave cook books. I have one from Readers Digest and it is huge. They are all nice meals too. Pizza chicken? Flatten a chicken breast and spread a mix of tomato paste and taco seasoning over. Top with pineapple, avocado, ham, tomato (whatever you like really), sprinkle with cheese. Cook in microwave until chicken is cooked through. You could make tuna mornays, vegetable bakes (just slice up potato, pumpkin, tomato, sweet potato, zucchini, or any veegetables you like, and layer them. Cut them about 1/2 - 1 cm thick. Mix some cream and some french onion soup powder together and pour over vegetables. Top with grated cheese and bread crumbs. Cook until vegetables are cooked through. Type "microwave recipes into google", you should get heaps.
  4. microwavable mac and cheese hot dogs heat up canned soup ramens tv dinners
  5. I would also suggest getting an electric skillet, crock pot, toaster oven, george foreman grill . . . to add to your cooking choices!
  6. TV dinners is an easy way out. But if you really want to cook, there are microwave cookbooks. I have one that lists everything from lasgna to meatloaf.

  8. You can buy microwave cooking bags now that do a great job on veggies. You can nuke a potato too. You can heat up soups as well. They even have microwave cheese and macaroni now. Go shopping!

Sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper mix all the stuff together - dressing at the last minute & enjoy. :)
  10. Yes i know one get pop-corn seeds light a camp fire and put a pan on top of the fire then poar the seeds into the pot and move back a littel and catch the pop corn YUMMY
  11. Many of today's supermarkets have a hot deli and they make up and sell complete dinners: meatloaf, mashed potatoes & a veggie or BBQ or Baked chicken, baked potato & a veggie or BBQ ribs, fried chicken....you get the idea. Many also make soups, pannini sandwiches, etc. Also, you can pick up a variety of other hot foods there like hot mac & cheese, tamales, burritos, egg rolls, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, etc. You can select from their cold salads too...macaroni, potato, vegetable mixes, pastas, mixed fruits, gelatins, puddings, etc. Also, check out their frozen foods sections and you will find a great variety of frozen lunches, dinners & desserts to pop into the microwave. All of these will be much better than eating from a burger fast food place.....
