What is the standard of Ikea kitchens like these days?

- VERY GOOD - BETTER THAN MANY OTHER HIGH ST FITTERS
- I recently fitted one for a customer that they purchased,,it went together well and looked good, but,,,it did not have false base unit backs to hide plumbing etc,did not make fitting it the easiest.
- Ikea kitchens have come a long way...they are still thicker and stronger than the cabs you buy from home depot, lowes....but now they have stronger drawer boxes and new features. They're also added several new door styles, lots of new appliances, and laundry solutions. They still have a 10 year warranty and I would strongly recommend them....I'm redoing my kitchen now!
- superb quality but lots of design faults including no space to rear of units for services IE:plumbing electrics etc meaning all this has to run through your cupboards .I would fit an mfi kitchen anyday rather than ikea believe me ive been there kitchens are my job !
- I recently installed a new kitchen and looked at lots of different suppliers. I chose Ikea for the following reasons: 1. Competetively priced. 2. Plenty of depth in the units. 3. Drawers that are better than I've seen in any other kitchens. My kitchen has now been in use for 6 months and I have absolutely no regrets. Highly recommended. (I don't work for Ikea or have any reason to promote them.)
