Does anybody know how I can get my bathroom re-designed for an article in a design magazine?
I read design magazines and they often have a feature where they help to re-design a room in a reader's home. I have a very small bathroom - so I think a feature on re-designing it would make a very interesting article. I also really need some help and inspiration!

- write to them and ask if they would be interested make it interesting
- i guess you would have to pay for the work to be done, by their builders . and then maybe, it would appear in the mag,at a pricely sum, probably a con. i would go around bathroom showrooms for ideas
- You could contact the magazine(s) in particular that you would like to see your bathroom showcased in, and see if they have a particular process you should follow. They often run these as contests. Or you could check out a few local interior designers who would be familiar with the magazine thing, and tell them of your plan. You could agree to allow them free reign of their talents in your bathroom space, in return for a mention of their name in any article, and turn it into a joint effort. You could also try bath fixture retailers in the same way, and allow them to showcase their products in your bath for an article, as free advertising, ( and hopefully at a discount! ) So, basically, you are offering up your bathroom as a "blank canvas" for a designer or retailer to collaberate with you on, for a magazine spread. Check it out !
- Many bathroom specialists submit their portfolios to industry magazines to showcase their best work. There is no financial benefit to the specialist (other than free publicity) and the same goes for the client. You need to insist on an interesting design which may cost a little more than the average room but will engage the attention of your designer and the media.
