what should be the percentage of magic find in diablo 2 lod, to maximize unique item drops?

In diablo 2 LOD , version 1.10, is it possible to get unique/set items in gamble?

Any one know a great game similar to Diablo 2? I've been playing Diablo 2 for years now and it's getting boring. I've done every possible thing in the game. I'm looking for a game similar to it. One with leveling, skill points, stat points, unique items, and good graphics. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Any good RPG games with many Unique, Set, Rare, Magic, Plain weapons and armor, similar to Diablo 2? OK so my absolute favorite game would have to be Diablo 2, but it's getting pretty old now and i know the new one is coming out soon but would love to see if there is any other similar games. I already know of Fate, Torchlight, Darkspore is sort of similar as well. I really love the whole auto generated stats and all the different kinds of unique items. I love to search over and over again and try find the rarest of items, it actually turns me on when i find such a good item that no one has. ANY suggestions PLEASE!!!

What is the Diablo 2 item "Burnt essence of Terror"? I was playing an open Battle.net Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction game on hell mode with "/players8" active. I killed Diablo (for the fifth-some-odd time) and he dropped some stuff like always. None of it really interested me (they were all magic items. Nothing rare, set, or unique) except one item with orange lettering. "Burnt essence of terror" appears as a red-orange powder in your inventory. Does anybody know what it's for? I get the feeling Mephisto and Baal drop their own respective essences, and you combine the three in the Horadric Cube and you get something, but that is just my random (usually inaccurate) guess. P.S. Anybody know what it means when Runes have orange lettering instead of white lettering. Some unique monsters have dropped them in games I've played and I wonder what the different color means...

Diablo 2 LOD IK set and rare clubs? im playing online and i have almost the full ik set need soul cage but anyway i have nord's tenderizer truncheon(http://www.diablo2guide.com/database/unique-items/nords-tenderizer-id838.php) then the demon limb tyrant club(http://www.diablo2guide.com/database/unique-items/demon-limb-id839.php) and since i dont have cage for ik yet i dont have compelte stats for ik maul but it has major dmg ik maul with all my other ik stuff is... 222-344 dmg and has some magical then has 200-400 cold dmg then 200-400 fire dmg and then like 222-300 psn dmg which should i have its ahrd cuz those clubs are good but ik maul is good too and fast attack speed im gogint o put in 2 shael runes to make it go even faster!! so which one should i have

In Diablo 2 can I come back to Larzuk in Normal difficulty to add a socket to an item I got in Nightmare/Hell? (Larzuk is the guy from Act 5 - Quest 1 he adds a socket to any item without any) I don't want the quest reward to vanish as soon as I beat Baal, but I don't have any items I want to add sockets to. Same question comes up with Act 1 where Charsi makes an item unique..........

in the hero editor for diablo 2 lod v.1.11b, how can i get a unique and set item w/ their attributes on it? so that i dont have to edit the item anymore

Diablo Patch, anyone? I played Diablo 2 expansion before with a patch that makes each boss and sub-boss drop the same set of unique items and set items everytime I defeat them. Where can I find this patch again?...

i think diablo is great but...? pc game i played for the first time was diablo 2 exp. it was great! i mean, graphics, story, quests etc..just fantastic..but don't u think the character balance is wrong??? my fav char was assasin and paladin. You can tell that the char balance is wrong esp when u play p vs p - i mean..b4 they did a patch update...using assain's skills...i could use trap but now..if u go into the village, u can't use it. so if u leave the village ur good as dead. I mean u just can't win the soccerer (specially them)and the amazon. It's so unfair! i haven't played diablo for long time but i wonder if it's popular still? what channel do u mostly play??? i know that since the patch update- u can't take the bus-i mean u can but it's hard..since u r likely to die..n does any1 know the bug that turns the map(multiplayer)so that only unique items drop from the mops? (the entire map turns goldish? it's all shiny and stuff... n when u kill monsters they only drop rare unique items)

Whats the best way to get rare items that you need in Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction? I need to get some items that aren't that rare but you couldn't just buy from the trader. In Diablo 2 LOD, are there any Necromancer items with plus skills to Revive? I have just started buying the equipment for my bone necromancer but do not want to invest the extra 3 skill points to get Revive, so was wondering if it was possible to gain that skill through an item, it would be good if this item (it can be any piece of equipment) is unique or a rune word with other good mods but it can be rare or any other quality and doesnt have to be necromancer only. Diablo II questions, HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!? 1. What are the differences between the different versions (I do NOT mean LOD)?...I have Diablo II v 1.03 (no LOD), how is that different from Diablo II v 1.10 (no LOD)? Does my game have less weapons/ items/horadric cube recipes? How can I find out what the exact differences are? (I want to know because I'm looking for a specific Unique Weapon, but it may not be in my version at all?) 2. If there ARE major item differences between Diablo II v 1.03 and Diablo II v 1.10 will installing LOD help? If I intall LOD, will my Diablo II be automatically "upgraded" to v 1.10 and I'll be able to get the items I couldn't get in my normal Diablo II v 1.03 version? Thanks very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. - The weapon I'm looking for is called "Ripsaw" and it's a Unique Weapon, a Flamberge. I've been Gambling, but I've never even SEEN a Flamberge, I think... What are some Games with "epic" loot? I can't play WoW, the most addictive and fun game, period. Why is not important. But im looking for a game or games with a similiar aspect, EPIC LOOT. I'm looking for a game that has a big emphasive on items in game, things that are unique and not easily obtainable. I looked into Too Human for the 360 but didnt look that great to me. Im looking for a dungeon crawler that will last you hours, weeks, months, etc. with the ability to get rare and special weapons. Looking forward to Diablo 3 but i cant wait that long. I was looking at Dungeon Siege 2, which i had played before and enjoyed but managed to lose the discs. Can anyone help me out? (note: have and played fable 2, including the DLC, same thing with Oblivion.) The games can either be on the PC or 360, prefer PC. Thanks

Alright,i don't want typical korean crap or WOW copies.Dont tell me any games like shya,9dragons,runes of magic,flyff or silkroad etc.Now i will tell what mmorpg should have following:1.Full player looting after death (not as usually-player dies and he looses only 2% of xp or damages armor) I want PK, don't mix-i dont want duels,guild wars,or another stupid way of PvP combat,no,i want PK-i kill someone i pick stuff,i die, someone loots me.2.Player crafting system such as smith sword,chop tree,cook fish, would be advantage.3.I would like unique or good combat system-not that who faster click on "fire ball" skill or had more hp wins a fight.4.Free to play- item mall is nothing bad.5.Classless/raceless perhaps would be advantage 6.I espect alot of content,i dont want grindfest based gameplay-level up,level up, buy items,level up, level up,buy items,sell old ones...etc.Something unique. The game could be oldschool style.Doesnt matter graphic very much,isometric view is ok.Also dont tell me private servers,i want play on officials servers (no diablo,no runescape-bored of it,no ultima,no dekaron) Also if you can tell me few games examples instead of one if its possible.
