I will be provided work by creative consultants in queensland for work with both graphic design and web design. I have been looking around and have absolutely no idea what the reasonable hourly rates are..? I really don't want to charge too much or too little.

What is a good, legit home startup business? I would like to start a lucrative business from home. I have wracked my brain for a year, just nothing comes to mind. My main skills are: graphic designer (degreed), I am a wildlife artist, photographer, and work as a website design consultant. Role-Playing Consultant? I am planning on forming my own role-playing site, and I am looking for some partners/consultants/founding members to help actualize this. The details of the role-playing world are still a little sketchy, but that is why I need some partners. I was previously involved in a very well developed Harry Potter role-play, but that scenario has been fairly exhausted. My ideal scenario however does share many qualities with Harry Potter, but it differs on a few key points that I feel make this world infinitely better. I would like to maintain the idea of slight fantasy in a realistic world and the system of specialized academies, but create a much more intricate and free alternative reality but, again, this is a very rough set of ideas that I have developed and I would like to work with a group of people in founding this system. I have extensive experience in role-playing. Obviously I have adequate gaming history, and that counts for something. My most important experience however lies in my background, as I already mentioned, as an executive staffer in a Harry Potter themed role-playing system of well over 5,000 members. I acted as the Head of Ravenclaw, Charms Professor, and Activities Co-Ordinator for approximately a year. From this, I have excellent skills in web design, large group fantasy co-ordination, creative writing, forum management, and everything else it takes. architecture and engineering? How easy is it for a structural engineer to be an architect. I have a dilemma because I don't know which path I should chose. As an Engineer I want to have a major in Structural Engineering, with a minor in mechanical engineering [automobile], and aerospace engineering. But lately I have been attracted to the architecture path. The only reason I am considering architecture is because architecture deals with design of a particular buildings. I want to design things, not letting somebody else give me their design and make me work my butt off for their creation. On the other hand, i don't want to build buildings for the rest of my life. what careers could combine health and fashion/beauty? I am interested in both, and I need to map out a career path very soon. I'm discouraged by how separate they are. I'm interested in a primarily science focused path because I'm interested in helping people, in general are much more stable and reliable than a fashion background, and offers a good salary. Is there a career out there for mixing Designing & Media skills, with Communications & Business skills? I am having trouble researching the difference between different titles and careers, they all seem to have different definitions in different places, and mingle together. I know what my skills are and I know what I want to do- I just don't know what it's called. I'm currently going to school for two majors, side by side: New Media & Communications, and Business Administrations. I want to use my digital imaging and advertising designing skills, but I also want to use my customer service and business skills. I want to work with Marketing, but I also want to work with Public Relations. I want to handle business accounts and face creative problem solving and plan events, but I also want to design the materials I am promoting for those events. Can these two things be meshed together under one title, and what would that title be? I'm great at, say, coming up with a concept for an advertising campaign, creating the campaign designs, AND promoting it, as opposed to doing either of those things. I'm very confused! Essentially I am in a position with open doors right now in which I can mold my own title and career. It is not that I'm "looking" for a job opening, I've already created one and begun to gain experience, and I simply do not understand yet what it is. Recruitment Problem to get to a client - Creative Ideas? You have your sights on a fast growing wine business in the area and you want it as your client. This could be the break that you have been looking for and would allow you to make your mark in the local area. The Managing Director/Wine Fanatic Tom Noble founded the business in 2004 and since then it has been growing year on year. They currently recruit a large number of temps (up to 20) throughout the Christmas and Summer season plus on average 4 permanent staff per month in the Customer Service and Admin departments. You have just seen a Press Release in the local paper confirming that there are 20 vacancies coming up within this company due to winning a new contract. Having recently interviewed a temp who worked there you know that the MD is disenchanted with recruiters in general - From probing further the temp explained that Noble had been really disappointed with regards to the quality of candidates being sent to him and that the Recruitment Agency he had been using had become lazy with regards to customer service and innovation. His words were “Recruitment Consultants are a waste of time and money – I may as well do it myself” You know that he has been treated badly and that you could turn this around BUT he will not take your calls! His PA Sadie, is fantastic at gate keeping and even though she is polite, she is under strict orders to stop any Recruiter calls going through to him.
