How do I design a creative Maths Poster? For my project, I have to do a maths poster. The poster can include anything that incorporates maths in it, and must be clever, attractive, and artistic. I'm doing it on computer and am looking for some good ideas to do it on. An example is "Maths is cool", and having icebergs surrounding it, explaining the maths behind it, or "Maths Hots Up", and having the sun in the background. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Should I major in advertising DESIGN or graphic design if i want to be a creative director someday? I go to FIT in NYC and have an associates in Communication Design and am applying to upper-division soon. I'm deciding between advertising design and graphic design as majors for the BFA program. I ultimately want to become a creative director because I LOVE concept, design and writing. I'm minoring in English Writing. I am stronger with concepts than I am with "technical graphics." Should I go into something I am better at and can perfect, or something I am weaker in? I am torn between majors because Ad design focuses MORE on concept than graphics (though graphics is taught in this major), and Graphic design focuses more on the technicality of graphics. More ads are created in the AD major and more logos, brochures, posters and layouts are created in the GD major. If I go into AD, would my career choices be limited? Could I still easily do GD work with a major in AD? If I go into GD would it take longer to get into the advertising industry???! And unfortunately money is an issue because of my ENORMOUS amount of student loans... so which major would be a better door to take financially? NKOTB Concert.. help with my poster!!!? Ok, so my sister has been a huge NKOTB fan since I was damn near in diapers. She won tickets for their show tonight in SW FL. One of the radio stations down here has this thing - if you're at the concert and you have a shirt or a poster that says something like "We love WINK FM and NKOTB" then the radio station (wink fm) will upgrade ur tickets or bring you backstage. Is "sans" an acceptable word? In a college essay, can I use the word sans and assume that the reader will understand? a friend was proofreading my essay for me, and she didn't know what it meant. I make a joke about how I can't draw particularly well, except stick figures, and then our group did a project and so on, and i end by saying that we successfully designed a creative poster, sans stick figures, and won blah blah blah. can i get away with that? or should i change it to without or something.

Are highly creative people rare? I know it can be subjective but- I heard someone actually say to me point blank that they are not a creative person. That idea seems foreign to me. Is there a way that a college student can get a job in advertising? I am a college student and I would like to find an entry level job designing posters, album covers and or tea shirts ect.. using photoshop. I really don't care how good the pay is. I just want a job doing something creative. I have experience in photoshop because I've taken a few classes. My professors and class mates keep telling me how good my work is. I need math people and some creative minds. (Algebra 2 Probability) Slot Machine Project? I need to design a slot machine. It'll show all windows of a 3 reel slot machine. My teacher wants it to be a poster but i want to have my 3 reels to scroll. I want to be able to move them. Could you please give me some assistance? ok so here's my deal, I am applying to college soon, and I am a very creative person, what types are fields require alot of creativity. For instance, I would really like to be one of those people that comes up with ideas for commercials, not the one that draws them out, but the one that comes up the basic concept of what the commercial is going to be like/about. Romeo and Juliet project ideas needed... 10 pts. for best idea.? I'm not very creative, and I'm having trouble coming up with things to put on my shield. I was hoping that someone would be able to help me come up with some good ideas. Here is the project: 1. Each student will select a character from the play. 2. Student will create a shield for his/her character from white poster board. 3. Student will select a significant quotation from the play either made by his/her character or about his/her character. It should be cited correctly. 4. Student will then select 2-4 symbols which will represent his/her character. 5. Student will design a shield using the quotation and symbols. My teacher assigned this Digestive System Poster Project... where I have to design a model of the digestive system (mouth, esophagus, salivary glands, liver, stomach...) where each organ is represented by something (other than the actual picture of the mouth, esophagus,..) that performs a similar function to each organ. and this needs to be on a poster.. so any ideas of what picture of real life materials i should use to represent this? he gave an example: blender = mouth-- a blender like the mouth grinds things up and makes them smaller... I am 15 years old and need help redecorating my room!? Hello, I have a medium sized room with a single bed, one corner study table an in-built cupboard and a large chest of drawers. My room has always been over cluttered with make-up, magazines, school books, jewellery, etc. My room walls are a plain creme colour and my chest of drawers are also a plain white colour. I have always wanted to create a cool, modern yet funky room but never know what colours and what decorations I should use. I love blues and greens as well as chocolates, yet I think using blues or light browns and greens may work better to create a sense of space. I would love some help with any cute bedroom items or cheap funky posters or even some good paint and decoration ideas.
