IKEA Kitchens? Does anyone have any experience with them? Did you or someone you know purchase them and if so have you been happy with them? If not, what about them hasn't lived up to your expectations? We've been tossing around the idea of getting these when we re-do our kitchen but don't know anyone else who has actually purchased them.
What has your experience been with IKEA kitchens? We are getting a rental property that needs updating and I'm debating on going with an Ikea Kitchen over a cabinet outlet center here in Chicago to save us money. Please give your honest opinion or let me know if better quality but afforable options are available.

Two questions about Ikea kitchens and Re-bath bathroom...? I am just getting a new condo in New York that need new kitchen and a new bathroom. Both spaces are little. This is my first house and I don't have a lot of money to spent.Everybody says that IKEA'S kitchens are very affordable. A lot of people said that with 3,000 I can have it all done with the installation fee included. My question is they actually work, how is the quality,and how long will last? About re-bath I just discover them and I looks great, but how much will cost for a small bathroom?And if I want a new toilet and sink they do that or I need somebody else for that?

Does IKEA market their kitchen cabinets under different names? I've been shopping around for an apt in New York. I noticed that many of the new developments use cabinets that look just like IKEA cabinets. Same look, same construction, same hardware. They just use nicer fronts and countertops. But the name of the manufacturer is different on the little name plates inside. I know this because I installed a full IKEA kitchen recently. Are these cabinets really IKEA cabinets with the brand name changed? I would love to get to the bottom of this.
If you had a kitchen installed through IKEA, how much did it cost for installation? Obviously it all depends on the size of the project, but if I could figure out the cost per cabinet that would be great! How hard is it to install an IKEA kitchen? I would like to remodel my kitchen by taking out the old cabinets/counter tops and installing new cabinets by IKEA. Can I plan on doing this myself, or is this something best left to a professional. I'm very good with setting up IKEA shelving and the like.
Has anybody got a receipt for an Ikea kitchen? We bought a kitchen in January and have lost the recipt. The council wont compensate us for the kitchen unless we have a recipt! Even though they can clearly see wi've put a new one in. We have phoned Ikea and they are unable to give us a replacement recipt!

how do i change a lightbulb under an ikea kitchen cabinet? I have an ikea light fitting under one of my kitchen cabinets. The low voltage bulb has gone but i can't figure how to get it out of the fitting to change it. It won't twist or push in and there's no gap between the bulb and the fitting ot prise it out. Tips on IKEA Kitchens? Do you like them? I'll be buying an IKEA kitchen, I really love them. Any tips? Should I go with my contractor father in law, or go for the IKEA installation for like $1500? Any advice would be great. Also, do you like the red ones? Those are the ones my hubby wants. i want to buy some Ikea kitchen cupboards and would like to know when will the vat of 20% going to be added? The government has stated that the vat will be raised to 20% in January 2011. The Ikea catalogue comes out in July - September with the new prices which should last for 1 year. Will they add 20% to the new catalogue prices?

what happened to canadas ikea kitchens online???!!!!? omg! i had a 71 piece order in my cart that i have worked very hard on for days now. its still there in my cart but the availability looks real bad throughout their kitchen stuff now...so i tried to complete my order and it told me that about 80% of my order is unavailable!! anyone ever see this happen before? is it just a temporary out of stock situation or is my stuff gone forever? I dont know if they had the adel white kitchen line reduced to clear or if its just lower pricing but if it was reduced to clear i am screwed! anyone know??

Remodelling a small kitchen...Is Ikea a good place to go for design, product and installation? They seem to know so much about getting the maximum out of a very small area (we are in a very small condo, renovated, used to be the top floor of a home with 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. Now it has an office, kitchen and an living/dining room combo that used to be 2 bedrooms. The third floor attic is now the bedroom. Comments on Ikea for everything may help.

Toronto ikea kitchen renovation question...best quality for the $? We're gutting our kitchen and have designed it. We selected the highest price point cabinetry from Ikea. It's oak. Are they the best priced for quality or is there somewhere else in the Greater Toronto Area that would be better to look as this is the only one we've looked at.

Which is better, an Ikea Kitchen or a B&Q Kitchen...? My friend is leaning towards the B&Q kitchen, but I personally think an Ikea kitchen would be a better investment considering they have a 25 year guarantee. Should I stain my Ikea piece before or after assembly? I purchased a kitchen cart from Ikea that is bare wood.
