If Kraft Kitchens Experts are such such witty experts on the best perfect easy economical recipes then why are? there Kraft Kitchens Experts asking people here in yahoo answers their own ideas for the best perfect recipes? Is it because they lost their own inspiration that they have to stiff other people's ideas and pass them off as their own?
Who at Kraft kitchens can defend the use of Cheese Whiz on Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches? I ordered one in the Philly airport, and it was disgusting. Why not provolone?

This kitchen is dedicated in memory of Bob Kraft? Is that sentence correct? We had our kitchen redone and the guy who was doing it died so my parents got a plaque for him but I think it's sounds awkward.

I'm looking for advice on "Kitchen Kraft" waterless cookware made in West Bend, Wisc.? I was at a food show where a rep demonstrated Kitchen Kraft Waterless Cookware. I impressed how the waterless system works. The cookware is very expensive -- over $1000! If I buy the set several freebies will be added. One is a type of grinder used to make salad fixings, hash browns, chop onions, etc. The other is similar to crock-pot. I found several reviews on the web, but they were posted a long time ago. You're comments are appreciated!
Can Kraft cheese powder go bad when stored in excessive heat? Can the cheese powder in macaroni and cheese go rancid when stored in excessively hot environments (102F/39C?) I am living overseas in Egypt for the summer, brought some mac & cheese with us for her for a "western" treat, but when I made it this evening it tasted awful. It has been hot for the last few days, with the temperature in the kitchen around 102F(39C).
This question is for the Kraft Kitchen Knowledge team: Why does your company partake in using GMO products? They haven't been used long enough to deem them safe yet, and there are numerous studies showing that they indeed are not. http://www.raw-wisdom.com/genetically-modified-food Tink, when you click the Food & Drink category, you will see a Knowledge Partner ad right underneath, promoting and advertising Kraft: http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;_ylt=AtGQDZ_tjXHBLGBzEST2WCx16xR.;_ylv=3?show=RO0s1MyVaa And I'm not sure AnswersRme...they were on here a couple days ago, but I wasn't. jeffinerg123, I already said why: They haven't been around long enough to deem them safe for the Earth or for consumption, and numerous studies have proven them NOT to be. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6262083407501596844 http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/alert.htm http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_20070217/ai_n18625232

How to make a light cheese sauce? Not kraft but like CA pizza kitchen's mac and cheese sauce or any restaurant that makes their own mac and cheese. its for pasta.
what type of insulation should I use to insulate under my kitchen floor? I live in Portland, OR, so it gets chilly in the winter. My kitchen was added to the house in 1993, and there's a crawlspace below it. During the winter, the kitchen is cold, and the floor is uncomfortable to bare feet, so the obvious solution is insulation. Should I use ordinary Kraft R-13? How does it attach, do I just shove it up between the joists and staple it into the bottom of the floor? Or does it attach to the joists?
What is a good cuisine for a college student and enthusiastic cook to learn? I'm not the type of college student who lives off ramen and kraft dinner. I love cooking, and keep my kitchen full of fresh vegetables, meats and grains. I have a reportiore of some really good meals, but I'd like to expand my horizons and learn the ins and outs of a particular cuisine. I originally wanted to do Indian food, but a little bit of research showed that all the Indian restaurant dishes I love take the better part of a day to prepare. I'm busy, so I want food that takes 1 or 2 hours, tops. I'm thinking Thai- I looooove the flavor, but I'm worried that the fresh seasonings like limes, basil, and lemongrass might run up my expenses. My food budget is about $50 a week. I have a pretty well fitted kitchen, and I could drop some money on 1 or 2 reasonably priced new pieces of equipment. I would prefer to use foods that can sit in a fridge for a while, because I can't shop that often. Thanks for all input!
SO GROSS!! I just found 3 bugs/maggots in my Kraft Mac and Cheese. Has this ever happened to you? I want to vomit so bad right now. I went to the store earlier and bought some Kraft pasta. When I went to cook it and poured the box into the water, 3 maggots float to the top. I immediately screamed and ran from my kitchen. I'll NEVER buy Kraft again -- soooo grosss!!! Has anyone have a similar experience with Kraft or am I alone here? *Still Traumatized* No, erock, I don't have maggots hanging out in my pantry. And moreover, I never even put the box in the pantry! It went from shopping bag to counter to pot pretty quickly as I was sooo hungry. Needless to say though, I lost my appetite even quicker! So it was either Kraft or the store I bought it from. I won't be buying any more -- YUCK!!
healthy appetizer? I am going to be attending a healthy snack appetizer party soon. I was looking at some dips, salas's type recipes. I think I found one, at least I think it is, and want to check with a few others for their opinions. Any advise is appreciated. Does American Cheese need to be refrigerated? I know Velveeta, obviously, doesn't need to be refrigerated before it's opened. But what about Kraft Singles? I swear I've seen them in grocery stores displayed unrefrigerated. It says Keep Refrigerated on the package, but I'm worried about it spoiling if I accidentally leave it out on the kitchen counter. Or, like I did this morning, forgetting it was in the grocery bag for about 6 hours. It was in my house, though, air-conditioned, not in a hot car or anything. Should I toss it?
what is one of the dumbest things you have ever done? I'm just curious. What are some of the dumbest things you've ever done in your entire life? I just wanted to know because the other day I forgot to put water in my Kraft Easy Mac and the whole kitchen was filled with smoke after a minute. The whole thing burnt and it was all black. That was probably one of the dumbest thing I've ever done. I'm just wondering. The best answer and 10 points will go to whoever has done the dumbest thing.
Calling all Kraft Dinner lovers!? What is your favourite KD recipe and story? I like taking pork chops, rolling the edges in coarse black pepper and grilling them. Then, cut the chops into bite sized pieces and add to Extra Creamy KD. It's super simple but the cheese sauce with the pepper... out of this world. One time when my hubby and I were moving my aunt and mom were unpacking the kitchen in the new place. They happened upon a box FILLED with Kraft Dinner. My mom ended up coming up to me, handing me $50 thinking that we were broke so all we could afford to eat was Kraft Dinner. Well actually, it had been on sale (and they were giving away free movies in the box) so we had bought 4 x 12 packs of KD. We really do like KD but no, we weren't eating it every day. I did keep the $50 though!
What are some good Macaroni and Cheese Recipes? It's about time to go to the grocery store, but I don't have time for that tonight. All I have is basic food items and a busload of Kraft Mac and Cheese. Is there something I can do to it to make it taste better? An extra ingriedient to add? My kids love the Curly Mac and Cheese from California Pizza Kitchen. Is there a recipe similar to that? Thank you! :)
Why did my cat just barf up all his food from this morning? Admittedly, I gave him a Kraft cheese slice as a treat but this isn't anything out of the ordinary. He ate his canned food about 3 hours ago like normal. He was good enough to barf on the kitchen tile, not the carpet. But it looks like the entire contents of the morning came up. He's 5 months old and hasn't barfed since he was a little kitten. Is this just something they do on occassion? His brother didn't barf, but his brother didn't eat a cheese slice either.
Need advice on cheese spread..Would a 5 cheese italian blend be ok instead of just provolone cheese?? Do you think some chedder would be ok with it too??? Thanks for your help!! Which play kitchen for 2 year old? Ok, first of all, who knew deciding which play kitchen to buy would be so difficult? I decided against either: Kidkraft pastel wooden kitchen - http://www.walmart.com/ip/Kid-Kraft-Large-Play-Kitchen/9916870 or Step2 Party Time plastic kitchen - http://www.walmart.com/ip/Step-2-Lifestyle-Party-Time-Kitchen-Play-Set-Play-Food-Value-Bundle/12574906 I think the Kidkraft is cuter and would be easier to decorate around in her playroom, but the Step2 looks more interesting. She just turned two, so she probably could care less. Any input?

What's going to happen to America and the people ? I've seen the worst of times these last few months.... there are so many people in my small town who are unemployed, laid off, or looking for work. More importantly, there has been a huge increase in crime, especially home invasions.... there are large groups of people going around looting and stealing then selling the stolen property for food and cash for drug!!! People are really struggling to get by and folks are getting scared of what's going to become of their future... Kraft - Mac & Cheese is still 3 for a dollar Soup kitchens have been handing boxes upon boxes out to the neighbors.... I feel really sorry for them, but I'm having my own problems too. How are you and your communities doing ? What is worse, is people are soon going to need heating fuel and gas when it gets colder.... I didn't think of that, but preparation is key.
Custom vs stock cabinets. And what does the "app plywood furniture ends" mean for lowes cabinets? I've gotten prices for kitchen cabinets from Lowes, Home Depot and a cabinet maker. We were expecting the custom to be more, but not almost 40% more. Particularly since he said the price would be comparable to decent cabinets from Lowes - which I think is what I'd picked out. I'm not sure the cabinet maker is correct about some of the things he tells me about the stock cabinets (maybe, he's installed them). For example, he says the upgrade I got for "All Plywood Furniture ends" "Matching Interior Plywood" (which adds 15% to 25% or more to each cabinet) does NOT mean there is NO particle board. The sales person in the store specifically said "no particle board". Cabinet maker said they replace some particle board with plywood, not all. I did try to include everything to make the kitchens the same, 36" upper cabinets, wood to bring them to the ceiling, crown molding, pieces of maple for the back of the island. Numbers: Lowes, for Kraft Made "Sonata Maple Square" price (with 'all plywood upgrade) is $8.5k + $3k insall (estimated install). This includes about $1100 in rebates. Custom: $16k installed. He makes the cabinets and buys the doors (from "Taylor Craft"). It's a difficult choice, thats alot of extra money. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Tooled (faux) leather as kitchen backsplash? I am decorating an office building. The theme throughout is a mixture of cowboy, santa fe, and indian art. There is a kitchen in the office and I am thinking of doing the backsplash with faux tooled leather fabric. It looks and pretty much feels like leather, but it is fake. They sell it on a bolt (roll) at Hobby Lobby. The kitchen is rarely used. I was also thinking of covering the chair seats with the same material. I am planning on doing one wall (the one you look at as you enter the kitchen) with the torn up brown kraft paper to make it look like 'faux suede' and then paint the other walls a contrasting color....maybe a sienna or barn red? Any suggestions on colors? Or do you think the faux tooled leather would be a good backsplash? Thanks for your input!
Over new kitchen ceiling drywall, should I use the faced or non-faced R-30 insulation in my full attic? I had to remove the blown-in insulation in my 1928 house over the kitchen so I could install new drywall for the ceiling. Now I need to put some insulation back in my full attic over the new kitchen ceiling. Should I use the Kraft faced R-30 or the non-faced? Thanks Isn't the facing also a vapor barrier to keep moisture or condensation from reaching the sheet rock? To add detail. I have good ventilation in the attic and I live in Southern Cal. Found a site that explained that if it's going to be up against drywall then to use the Kraft Faced insulation. Anything on top of that can be regular insulation.
Remolding Kitchen and bathroom... HELP? We are doing a complete reno for my kitchen and my son's basement bathroom. My questions are... SINK: I have read that the higher grade of stainless steels sinks (18) much better than a lower grade (20 to 22), and is worth the price. Anyone have experience with the different grades in regards to denting and sound? GARBAGE DISPOSAL: I think I am going for the 1 horse power, because we use the current one 8 to 12 times a day. I have looked into Kenmore, Kindred, In-Sink-Arator... my mind is swimming. has anyone bought a garbage disposal they love, or know any other info that would help me? COUNTER TOPS: I think I am going with quartz, Zodiac or LG. My contractor is kinda pushing granite... I am very hard on counters and need something durable and low maintenance. Anyone have any helpful info for me? THE LOOK: This si the hard one.. I love the look of the white cabinets, with the black counter (think "Somethings Got To Give with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton or Ina Garten's, the BArefoot Contessa, kitchen).. but I have heard that painted wood cabinets can looked dented and beat up after awhile. So we are thinking of dark cabinets, with a light (beige or gray) counter.. like the Kraft Maid pix I've put below.. Any and all ideas and info are appreciated! KRaft Maid picture: http://www.kraftmaid.com/IdeasandInspiration/InspirationbyRoom/Kitchen/cabinets/InspirationByRoom043.aspx?sort=DarkToLight&filter=All&entry=68b4cd4a-e456-4915-92fe-0444b943a5be&iskitchen=False&shape= Just the cabinets. Any good Idea's for a High end Kitchen Appliance and Interior Design Center Name? My mom is in the process of buying the store she currently works at "Kitchen Elegance" we hate that name! We are located in Gulfport MS REALLY close to the beach. We sell high end kitchen appliances such as Viking, Gaggenau, Thermador, Sub-zero, Wolf, AGA, Dacor, Bosch, Ariston, Diva, Blue Star, just the name of few. We are going to add a contractor brand such as GE monogram or Profile, due to the high volumes of condo's being built on the beaches here in South MS. We also do custom drapes, flooring "tile, carpet, and wood" also we do custom cabinets and kraft-maid. Also we do Granite Counter Tops. We are the exclusive high end appliance store on the coast! Here's all the healthy stuff I have in my kitchen: FRUIT 2 Pears (i am unsure whether or not they are ripe, but I was going to try one tomorrow. They are green with sort of pink bruise looking marks. In some spots they are tender.) Tomatos Fruit Cups 1/2 Apple Apple Sauce VEGETABLES Carrots (mini) Raw Okra CHEESE Mini Babybel Cheese Kraft American Singles EGGS BREAD Wheat bread and wheat mini bagels CEREAL Some special K and MILK CASHEWS and RAISINS I'm not talking about actual sit down meals where I have to cook and all that. I'm a kid...I can make grilled cheese, omelettes and scrambled eggs. Things like that. But I'm willing to learn so if there's something I have to cook, please give details. THANK YOU!
Easy, fun lunch recipe? I've decided I want to make something interesting for lunch today. NOT PB&J, Kraft Macaroni& Cheese, or anything too vegatable-y or spicy. Something that consists of things that everyone usually has in their kitchen. I'm 13, but I'm capable of making intense meals (don't underestimate me). But something that is simple enough. I don't feel like going into a 3 hour lunch frenzy. Thanks in advance <3
"Student" theme food ideas? I want to hold an end-of-exams potluck for some friends. Since most of know our way around the kitchen our potlucks are usually pretty decent, but I want to try something different this time and do a "student" theme. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some items that students typically eat lots of, even if they aren't at all healthy? (Kraft dinner, pizza and ramen come to mind but I'm sure there are more.) Thanks!! :)
What should I make for dinner? I'm out of dinner ideas. My family recently appointed me kitchen duty (cook, do dishes, etc.). I've been doing okay, but I'm out of ideas for meals. Right now I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner. These are the things I have to work with: -basic ingredients (flour, sugar, water, eggs, butter, etc.) -tomatoes -peaches -spices -onion -potatoes -pasta (spaghetti noodles and elbow noodles) -pasta sauce -tomato paste -mozzarella cheese -kraft yellow cheese -squash That's basically the contents of my kitchen lol. I was thinking maybe a homemade pizza, but I would have to make the crust and I don't have any yeast or a pizza pan. Could I make it thin crust and bake it on a cookie sheet? Other ideas?
Please tell me I'm not a bad mother!? Moms have you ever been so nauseated that you couldn't cook a good meal for your kid(s)? I have been suffering with recurrent nausea due to a medication I take. Today I was doing fine, but around 5pm I started to feel really bad. I went to the bathroom and sat on the floor for about 10 mins, then went into the living room, checked my 3 yr old son, put on a video, and went back to the bathroom again for another 10 mins. I did this for like an hr. I knew he was hungry, so when I could control my gag reflex well enough, I went to the kitchen. I gave my son 7-8 saltine crackers, a couple of Kraft singles and an apple. He seems fine with it, but I feel so guilty! My husband is working tonight, and can't come home, and my MIL will never drive to our house at night. I'm on my own! I've been on Answers b/c it keeps me distracted from the nausea.

Is Tramontina a good brand for cookware? Everything in my kitchen is Kitchen Aid (about three years old) and it is all crap. I want to start replacing it one piece at a time with quality pieces that will last for a long time. I'm not a pro so I'm not talking about spending $200 on a pot to cook some Kraft mac-n-cheese in. I just don't want to have to replace it again in such a short time. Here is a link to the one I am looking at... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5716482
Would you try this recipes? Hi folks, I was messing around in the kitchen and came up with my own variations of the grilled cheese sandwich, well lets say i came up with 3 variants... 1) a grilled cheese sandwich topped with Honey 2) a grilled cheese sandwich topped with Asian sour plum sauce 3) a grilled sandwich with chilly flakes in between served as it is. I used dried chillies and crushed them to a flaky consistency! Btw, all tastes really really good. I used normal white bread and Kraft cheese. So tell me, will you try the above?? and do share your creations too! :)) Wow, thx for all your inputs guys...never expected I became a popular chef overnite..:)) For those trying the sour plum version, you can get something like this http://importfood.com/sanr2601.html or goto the exotic / asian isle in your local stores!

My Mothers Crazy What Should i do? i can easily say that i don't love my mom and Ive lost all respect for her! And would be better off without her. My "Mom" calls me ugly-dumb-a whore-bitch anything that's an insult basically. She doesn't work its been over 20 years, she showers every 5 days, she spends my dads money on herself (clothes that she don't wear), very negative ALWAYS talks about the news i was raised in a small town because shes scared of the real world. She Doesn't cook when she does (which is rare) she only makes simple things like Kraft-Dinner or hot dogs! My house is sooo messy... when i offer to do dishes she yells at me saying i wont do them Right. Once she actually called the cops and then hesitated and said she had the wrong number! Come on what other numbers are close to 9-1-1? She has these random fits there was a Miskito n the kitchen this morning soo she started yelling and running from it other then squashing the bug. When ever i do something "wrong" she calls her mom then they both start yelling! (on speaker phone) She thinks everyone's out to get her and has said enough times that i should kill her and end her misery! i would neverrrr kill anybody. What kinda help should i seek out? Shes making my life harder then it should be. btw: i am 16!

please read the beginning of my story(continued) and tell me what you think? As I pedaled my bike down the ritzy sidewalks of the subdivision, I gawked at mansions with immaculate lawns that screamed, “No kids here!” To ensure privacy, tall picket fences loomed in their backyards. Teens my age stared at me on my bike as they went by, being chauffeured in their Porsches. Finally, I found the house that I had been searching for all along: 503 Lilydale Lane. Yellow siding, white shutters, and a winding driveway completed the mansion’s exterior, while pine trees and a typical picket fence stood in the background. The whole scene was intimidating, even though this house was one of the more subtle ones. No toys on the front lawn or in the driveway gave any sign of children. And the only playground equipment that I saw was a porch swing swaying on the farmhouse style porch. Chairs with cushions that were too pretty to sit on occupied the front of the porch. This does not seem like a child’s house, I thought. Maybe I should go next door and ask if this house has any kids living here. So to save myself from the possible embarrassment of going to the wrong house for a baby-sitting job, I walked over to the neighbor’s house that was fancier than the first, and knocked on their door. “Hellooo!” the woman called as she opened her door. I gagged when I saw the sight of her. Dressed in pure Armani, she had a face that was obviously the result of too many Botox treatments. “Yeah, um, I was wondering if there are any kids living next door to you,” I asked, pointing to 503. “Why? I don’t like to give out my neighbor’s personal information,” the stranger declared, looking disdainfully at my JC Penney’s jeans. “Um, I was hired to baby-sit there, and I was just making sure I have the right address. It doesn’t really look like any kids live there.” The woman frowned at me, deciding whether or not to believe me. Sighing, she told me that indeed, yes, a little girl lives there. Glad to get our encounter over with, I mumbled thanks and quickly scooted back over to the right house, now five minutes late for my job. The gold doorknocker loudly banged against the door as I let it drop. Ten seconds passed, and no one came. Sighing, I knocked again, this time more forcefully. Oh…my...gosh, I thought. I better have not humiliated myself in this uptight neighborhood just to find out that no one is home. Well, anyways, third time’s the charm. I backed up, grabbed the doorknocker, and let it really fly into the door. Thank God, I thought, as a pretty, redheaded teen a few years older than me opened the door, cracking her gum. “You were supposed to be here, like, seven minutes ago,” she whined, checking her cell phone for the time. “I have a date that I’m supposed to be on right now, thanks to you.” “Yeah, sorry about this, I wasn’t sure that…um, never mind,” I apologized. “But I’m here now, so if you give me the instructions, you can leave.” “’Kay, come on in, then.” In a very quick five minutes, I learned that she was Trissie, Trixie’s older sister, whom I was about to baby-sit. I also learned that further instructions were on the counter and Trixie was in her playroom. Then it was just Trixie and I, although I had no idea who Trixie was, or where the playroom was. Starting down a long hallway , I peeked into rooms to check for Trixie. Turning out, it was the last one of the hallway that was the little princess’s playroom. As I entered the enormous room, I gaped at a plasma TV, a Wii, two computers, dollhouses, life-size dolls, Barbies, stuffed animals, and a Little Tikes play table. Sitting in the middle of it all, was little Trixie. Dressed better than me, the four-year old girl in a puffy pink stared at me. In a pink dress, brown leggings, and matching pink ballet flats, Trixie was dressed better than me. * 54 minutes ago * - 3 days left to answer. Additional Details 15 minutes ago here's more: I rolled my eyes at the fact that I knew I was going to have trouble with this spoiled little girl. Then, gathering my nerve, I decided that Trixie couldn’t intimidate me. “Hey, I’m Caroline, and I’m gonna be your baby-sitter. You’re Trixie, right?” Apparently Trixie didn’t care who I was, for she kept on playing with her Barbies. Trying to interact with her, I picked up one of her discarded Barbies and started to dress her up in a blue chiffon dress. “You’re not allowed to play with that,” Trixie told me flatly. Sighing, I carefully set the Barbie down and told the little girl that I would start dinner since it was already 5:30 pm. According to Trissie’s instructions, I was supposed to heat up some Kraft macaroni and cheese (Blue’s Clue’s style) and give it to Trixie at promptly 5:45 pm. But just finding the kitchen took five minutes alone since I couldn’t disturb the little diva with directions.
Where can I find the Kraft Macaroni Song? Y'know, it has lyrics like, "Mom's in the kitchen with cheesiest" and I thought it was kinda catchy. I'd like to find the actual song, but I wouldn't mind someone posting the lyrics.
