Do YOU have a good interior design suggestion? Currently, my home interior company is working on a large apartment in Northeast Ohio in a city based area. We are expecting a 20 something couple to move in. Their likes are "Americana" design, Old Country or Primitive, and modern day design. <> We would like suggestions from 20 something people as well on what they would like to see in their apartment. First let me give you an overall visual of the apartment. <> We are working with 3 bedrooms and a large living room, all in which have a medium blue colored carpet (at request) with dark walnut trim. All walls are white. We have a medium sized bathroom that is all white at the moment with a white and gold floor. The kitchen has a beigh floor, white walls and walnut trim. <> Mainly we are asking for THEMES for the rooms. We are open to any suggestions. If the couple likes an idea we use from Yahoo! Answers, then there will be a reward for the answeree who gave the suggestion. What title should i give to my interior design board? Basically, my theme is country and I am using stars. I need a title on my board since I am doing this for a class and if I don't do well on it I won't get the credit to pass it. I am designing a bathroom and I have everything picked out except the name. I guess I could call it 'Master Bathroom', but my teacher likes titles to them. Someone called theirs 'Modern Romance', but I don't want to be that FAR out. Could you help or at least give suggestions? I have to present in a week!

Is it a bad idea to have an European cottage exterior with a contemporary interior? I am designing a house for myself that I love. On the outside it's a cute country cottage but on the inside, it is very high-end, contemporary. It's not SUPER cold and contemporary but still modern, especially the bathrooms and kitchen. The thing that I wonder about is the resale potential. I think that I would be limiting my buyers market buy designing it this For those that want an old world exterior, probably want an oldworld interior. Same thing for those that love modern. They want a modern exterior to go with the modern interior. Would it be a bad idea to do this? Especially for resale? And it will probably catch people off guard when they enter.

Looking for blog sites/websites on small space interior design? I am moving into a studio apartment with my partner. The room apartment is tiny (16x11 feet or 5x3.3 meters) - that's excluding the little hallway, bathroom and kitchen. Since it's quite tricky to furnish I am looking for blog sites or just websites *specifically* on furnishing small spaces. Please don't give me links to websites with concept ideas of space saving furniture that doesn't exist or interiors that look like they're from The Jetsons :P The flat is in a Victorian style with wooden beams on the ceiling and a little bay window so ultra modern will just look odd. So if anyone knows where I can find good small space interior design ideas please let me know, you'd pretty much save my life. Alternatively, if you are a budding interior designer and would like to give me some ideas (free of charge :P) I could send you the layout of the flat and you could knock yourself out with some furniture arrangement concepts!

What do you think about black interior doors? My husband and I are building a custom, and I would like to paint all our doors black. The floorplan is very open, and the kitchen and living room are basically one big room, which I painted a very bright yellow. Behr's "Bicycle Yellow," to be exact. The master bedroom, for which we chose very light, airy blues, extends from the living room. Of course, there is a guest bathroom in the living room, and a master bath in our room. Three closets in the living room, one in guest bath, one in master bedroom, one in master bath. Those are basically the only rooms on the main level. I'm definitely no pro at interior design, but from pictures I have seen, black doors with white trim look very nice. I'm looking for your opinion. Keep in mind, hubby and I are both in our 20s, and my in-laws (50s-ish) have made it very clear that they do not like the idea. My husband and I, however, love the modern look. What do you think about it, Yahoo community? (EDIT: the floors are a light wood, and our living room furniture is dark brown leather. Needing help choosing a business name...? I am currently taking an enterprise management class. In this class we have to make a business plan like we were really starting our own business. Well, I have chose to start an interior store. My store will include furninture and accessories for living room, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms ect. and an interior decorating/designing business will also be offered through my company. Now i have to pick out a name and i cant come up with anything! I need a catchy modern and cute name that would appeal to a younger grounp of adults (20's-late 30's) thank you soo much!

What is a good house for my Sims 2 family? I have a new family, one adult couple, two teens (one boy, one girl), and a small pet dog. I am looking for a house with 3 bedrooms 1.5-2 bathrooms (preferably one on each floor), a living room with a TV, either a game room or home office with a computer, and a one or two-door garage with a (sport-)car(s). I'd also like the rooms to be modern but still simple. And the house must have a kitchen with good appliances, a dog bed, a dog dish, and a few other pet items. It would be nice to have a pool/hot tub too. Price is no object but I don't really want a huge fancy 3-story mansion.
