Do I legally need a receipt for a refund of faulty electrical goods? I bought a new electric kettle from Big W using their new self service checkout system. If i put some very powerful permanent magnets on the wire connected to a radio or light or something, would the permanent magnetic field interrupt the flow of electrons/current?
