would you like to see a "classic" range of electrical goods guaranteed for 10 years....? ie: are you fed up of being on the treadmill of keeping up with the jones by buying slightly different versions of perfectly adequate goods you already own, just because wanting to be seen to be keeping up? wouldnt you buy the classic version of telephone/fridge/ toaster..etc...and look after it and make it last. is your life really that trivial that the best thing you can think to spend your money on..is the latest instantly obsolete thing..that you are going to feel compelled to replace in 12 months time..!!!
what happens to obsolete electrical goods ? there must be warehouses full of these goods eg old televisions -not plasma ,lcd or ipod's before the colour photo versions appeared and all other types of electrical stuff oh yeah where can get them from

Are there any UK charities who will accept unwanted electrical goods? I am moving from a house for which I bought a washing machine and fridge freezer to a new place that has all the appliances built in. I do not have room for the old appliances and since both are in good working order and only 2 years old I'd rather not take them to the tip. I would ideally like to donate them to charity (preferably one which will collect!) or if anyone has any alternatie ideas about what could be done with them I'd be grateful. Many thanks.
